“Every movement in our life can be the beginning of great things”

~ Joseph Pilates

Pilates is more than an exercise system — it is an experience. Pilates requires complete focus and full participation in your own movement process as you come to understand your body in new ways. You will gain more confidence in your daily activities, recreation and sports, and regain movement you may have thought was lost to you for good.

Pilates sessions give you an experience of coordination between mind and body; and this experience supports you in feeling empowered, balanced and confident in your everyday life. Mary designs a program so you can take your movement experience to other 24/7 activities of your life.

Mary believes it is never too late to explore new movement possibilities. You are never too old to begin your journey. Just start where you are and Pilates will meet you there. Transformation is possible when you have the right guide and can tap into the wisdom of your own body and mind.

Why do Pilates?

There are exercise programs that will improve your posture and flexibility. There are some programs that will sculpt your body and increase your core strength. And still others that support circulation and ease pain. Pilates  was designed to do them all.

The Pilates Method was created by Joseph H. Pilates and his wife Clara during their 60 year search for the perfect exercise program. Today, you’ll find Pilates being offered in hospitals, universities, fitness centers and physical therapy clinics all around the world. It’s a full body workout practiced by millions for both fitness and injury post-rehabilitation.

Joseph Pilates wasn’t boasting when he wrote, “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see a difference and in 30 you’ll have a whole new body.”  Pilates works.

And it will work for you!!!
